MPS’ Motorsport Engineering expertise has been recognised by the Performance Vehicle Engineering Giant McLaren as we’ve been selected to provide our Race Engineering services to their prestigious customers as part of their Ultra Exclusive P1 GTR Hypercar Track Experience programme.
The P1 GTR is an extreme, track only version of McLaren’s already incredibly High Performance P1 road car.
Featuring a 1000 PS power output from it’s Hybrid powertrain, consisting of a twin turbo V8 engine and electric motor.
With less than 60 examples being produced, McLaren’s customers were part of an ultra exclusive club and had the full racing driver experience as McLaren’s specialist team run the track experience events all around the globe at some of Motorsport’s most famous circuits.
At each event, MPS director Ben Newman heads up the technical team dedicated to one of these cars to ensure the safe and optimised operation on track of these technically advanced track specials.
Utilising the various adjustable mechanical and electrical control systems to optimise the car’s performance on its Pirelli Slick tyres at each specific circuit in conjunction with analysing the data from the advanced data logging systems in partnership with the world class professional driver coaches, such as Brunno Senna, MPS help to maximise the customer’s on track experience.
