MPS continue competing within the prestigious British Touring Car Championship, continuing on their race programme with Team Parker Racing and Stephen Jelley for another season in 2018.

The new season sees the team switch to the proven and competitive BMW 1 series platform.
The the car has been well developed by the Championship Winning team WSR and TPR hope to continue on with this car’s success on track as they take the reigns of operating it.

The front engine, rear wheel drive layout has proven successful within the BTCC and is a format and a driving style that is much more comfortable and familiar for experience racer Steven Jelley, who has previously spent most of his career racing with the rear wheel drive format.

The team hope that this new car will help us to showcase the performance that we know is present within both the team and the driver that we weren’t able to showcase too often with the Front Wheel Drive Machinery used in the 2017 Season.
Confidence is high that we will regularly be able to compete at the front of the field and showcase our True Potential as we look to return to the top step of the podium.

MPS, with our vast experience of the Cosworth Electronics systems that are mandated within the NGTC rules of the BTCC, will continue to operate with the team with data, performance and systems engineering responsibilities.
