All of the preparation and hard work utilising MPS’ Motorsport Engineering experience pays off for MPS and Team Parker Racing as Scott Malvern takes Pole Position in the first Qualifying session of the season for the 2018 British GT Championship.
In the first event for MPS & Team Parker Racing, only a shortly amount of time after receiving their new Mercedes AMG GT4, a great balance and high performance setup derived by MPS and implemented by TPR allowed Scott to produce the blistering lap time to top his class.
The time was good enough to not only secure pole position but also to break the existing lap record for a GT4 car around the tight and technical Oulton Park circuit.
Delighted with the level of competitiveness that we brought to the first competitive event with the car from our pre-season testing, confidence is high within the team that they can turn the 1 lap pole position pace into a podium result come race day.
