For what can only be described as a career highlight for any Motorsport Engineer, MPS are proud to have competed in and completed our first 24 hours of Le Mans race.

Continuing their Work with the Project 1 team and their Porsche RSR GTE, MPS and the team showed great pace throughout the entire Le Mans 24 hour race week.
This pace continued into the race and the team were almost rewarded for all of their efforts as for the majority of the Race they were constantly running in a podium position and at points challenging for the class honours.

The live telemetry system was working well and allowing MPS and the rest of the Project 1 team to monitor and optimise all of the systems controlling the Porsche to ensure it consistently operated at its best throughout the entirity of the gruelling 24 hour race.

An unfortunate hardware failure in the braking system in the final quarter of the race caused the innocent driver to crash the car and in doing so incur significant damage in which the time it required to repair took them out of any podium contention.

Showing true determination and resilience after what is always a gruelling event week, the team battled on to repair the car and heroically got the stricken RSR back out onto the track for the drivers and team to bring home the car at the checkered flah of the prestigious 24 hour race.

Although the result was disappointing, the experience is still phenomenal and MPS and team Project 1 will return next year with some unfinished business as they clearly have the pace to challenge for the Win.
