MPS’ Data Driven Driver Development process continued to excel during the 2021 GT Cup season as the businessman come racing newbie, Morgan Tillbrook, took the Top Step of the Podium 4 times during the final few events of his first full Motorsport Season after his step up to the top flight GT3 class mid-season.

With MPS being responsible for both Race and Data Engineering duties with the Enduro Motorsport team, we continued with our tried and tested process of working with the team’s Pro Driver, Marcus Clutton, to get the McLaren 720S GT3 into its setup performance window as quickly as possible before maximising amateur driver Morgan Tillbrook’s time on track to put in practice our latest area of focus from the data-focused driver development debriefs.

Morgan, a man used to high performance and analytical techniques in his professional life, responded brilliantly to our coaching techniques and quickly became the man to beat after stepping up to the top, GT3 class of the Championship.
Despite the pressure that these strong lap times undoubtedly attract, Morgan threw away the other distractions and focused on what he needed to do come the all important race events.
This enabled him to not only take his first ever race win but he also visited the top step of the podium 3 other times during the remainder of the 2021 GT Cup season, visiting the podium a total of 5 times out of 6 races in the top class of racing, despite the Championship’s previous results based time penalty system aimed to bring close racing to the Championship.

A fantastic end to the season and a proud reward for MPS and their now well proven Driver Development processes.
